Recycling
When you dispose of waste, it’s important you sort it properly, so we’ve outlined what to do with a wide range of waste. Throwing rubbish in with your recycling means the whole bin is contaminated and can’t be recycled, and will have to go to landfill.

Public place recycling trial
Council are running a park-based station for recycling your waste while you’re out and about. This 12-month trial is being run at Te Uruhi/Maclean Park in Paraparaumu, from January 2020 until January 2021.
