The Aotearoa Bike Challenge is a free, inclusive challenge designed to get more people riding – for fun, fitness, transport, community connection, and sustainability.

Annually, the Bike Challenge takes place between 1st February and 28th February, so there's plenty of time to get involved and enjoy the benefits of cycling.
Kāpiti district’s network of cycle trails makes cycling easy, safe, and enjoyable for all ages and abilities. Enjoy a recreational ride in the evenings or weekends or take the scenic route to mahi. Participating in the Aotearoa Bike Challenge is accessible to everyone, from bike beginners to seasoned cyclists.
