Happy New Year Kāpiti! The year is ticking along quickly already, but hopefully summer is here to stay a bit longer.

Make sure to get involved in all the fun activities we have on offer including our reading challenge, kids' summer activity sheet, and pool programmes, or enjoy our tracks and trails and join the Aotearoa Bike Challenge.

It's Wellington Anniversary this weekend, which means our libraries will be closed on Monday 19 January. Both Coastlands Aquatic Centre (CAC) and Waikanae Pool will be open from 8am–8pm and Ōtaki Pool 8am–6pm. There will be no Aquafit classes on Monday 19 January and the Plunge Cafe at CAC will also be closed. 

The sun is shining so get out and enjoy summer, but make sure to keep yourself safe when exploring.
