Apply for a club licence

A club licence allows alcohol to be sold and supplied at club premises, to be consumed on site by members and guests.

Apply for a manager's certificate

A duty manager in a licensed premises makes sure that the staff and premises follow the rules of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. To be a duty manager, you must hold a manager's certificate.

Apply for a special licence for an event

An alcohol special licence is required for events where alcohol is sold, or if an entry fee or donation is collected and alcohol is available for free.

Apply for a temporary authority

When taking over a licensed premises, you can apply for a temporary authority. This allows you to operate the business under the current licence for a time while you apply for a new licence.

Apply for an off-licence

An off-licence is required to sell alcohol that is to be consumed elsewhere.

Apply for an on-licence

An on-licence is required to sell alcohol that is to be consumed at the business premises.

Apply for planning and building certificates

Apply for temporary event permit

If you're planning to use a public space, park or reserve for your event, you may need an event permit. This gives Council confidence that activities follow legislation, and events are undertaken in a safe manner.

To be used with applications for New or Renewal of On, Off and Club Alcohol Licenses.

Notify a change of duty manager

When changing a duty manager at your business for any reason, you are required notify Council.

Renew a club licence

Apply to renew an existing club licence at least 20 working days before it expires.

Renew a manager's certificate

Apply to renew your manager's certificate before it expires. If your current certificate has already expired, you will need to apply for a new certificate instead.
