Comedy meets pride this October in Paraparaumu as 2020 Entertainment Ltd presents Pride & Punchlines, an all-queer stand-up night in association with Paekākāriki Pride. This night isn’t just jokes — it’s visibility, community, and laughter. A chance for queer voices to take centre stage, question norms, and connect through humour. Whether you’re LGBTQIA+ yourself or an ally, there’s something for everyone. He founded the NZ Comedy School to mentor emerging comics. “Thornton is just a master of the craft … the room is totally unified.” — Theatreview “A bold performer with intelligent material.” — Ruminator Kipling DC A 2026 Billy T Award nominee, Kipling DC is making waves in Wellington’s comedy scene.
