Get Ready to Get Creative at Ōtaki Pottery Club's Public Raku Day! Join the Ōtaki community for a fun-filled day of creativity on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Ōtaki Māori Race Club grounds! Experience the magic of pottery by choosing from a selection of bisque ware pieces starting at just $3 each. Apply vibrant Raku glazes and watch your creations come to life as they are fired on-site! This family-friendly event features live music, face painting for the kids, and plenty of space to picnic on the grass. Delicious food and drinks will also be available, including a sausage sizzle and refreshing homemade lemon drinks. Event Details: Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025 Time: 10 AM - Last sale at 1 PM (Final pieces may take up to 1.5 hours to fire) Location: Ōtaki Māori Race Club Grounds
