Hobnail and Friends
St Peters Village Hall, Paekākāriki, Kapiti Coast

Rob, Jo, Hamish, Caroline and Murray are joined by special guests Wayne Mason, Alan Norman and Nicola Mitchell for a night of musical fun and excellence. The last time they got together was for a sold out show at Morgan's Clubhouse, described by the audience there as one of the best shows they had ever seen. Hobnail have criss-crossed NZ for 30 years now, making toes tap, feet dance and hearts soar with their “illustrious blend of celtic, folk, country and rock”. Dazzling instrumentation, award winning songwriting, and “vocals so tightly knit they could be family” add up to a truly memorable performance. Joined by national treasure Wayne Mason, old mate and current Warratah Alan Norman, and the truly wonderful Nicola Mitchell "making waves with her enchanting vocals and songwriting prowess. " Nicola will play a short opening set, then the expanded 8-piece Hobnail will be playing 2 sets of favourites old, new, borrowed, but not so blue. Oh, and it's Rob's birthday!
