Jewellery-making in 6 weeks, Saturday Mornings, Level 2+

Our popular weekend block classes are the best way for keen makers to get into jewellery making in a lively, warm and friendly environment. It starts on Sat 31 January and runs for 6 weeks till Sat 7 March. This class is for regular students at Ōtaki who have already completed at least a beginner's 6 week block as a minimum. Students will be supported by Vaune and the occasional guest tutor to further their jewellery making skills in the areas that interest them. This class is a Fabrication focus. Students who have already taken a class in enamelling or wax work can continue their work in this class but the format does not allow for beginner lessons in these things. You can purchase metals and materials for your projects as you go - in the studio. Advanced students are encouraged to retain their silver scrap and learn to work thriftily with materials, using scrap for future projects. Our booking system asks for payment to be made via credit card, Afterpay or PayPal on booking. If you do not have access to these payment methods or need to pay your course fee over time please email us to arrange this ;)
