Te Wero Pānui Raumati | Summer Reading Challenge
This summer, we challenge you to read as often and as many books as you can! Challenge open to 5–13 year-olds.
I tēnei raumati, e wero ana mātou i a koe ki te pānui i ngā wā, i te nui hoki o ngā pukapuka e taea ana! He wero e wātea ana ki ngā tamariki 5-13 tau te pakeke.
Details
Each day of summer we challenge you to read something you enjoy and join us at our summer reading events. At the end of the day, if you have read for at least 15 minutes, colour in the next number. You can only colour in one number each day.
When you complete 10 numbers, you will receive:
- A ticket to the finale party at Maclean Park, Paraparaumu Beach on 14 February.
- An entry into the grand prize draw – a $250 voucher for The Warehouse, with five extra chances to win a $50 voucher.
- A new book to keep.
Keep reading! For every 10 numbers you complete, you’ll get an entry into the grand prize draw.
To complete the challenge, colour in at least 10 numbers and bring your sheet into any Kāpiti Coast District Library by 30 January 2025 or fill out the online form.
