The Airport Noise Management Plan was developed by a review panel and accepted by Council in September 2010 as meeting the new District Plan requirements. The District Plan requires Council to review the plan at least every three years. The latest version of the Airport Noise Management Plan [PDF 530 KB] was updated through a Council-initiated review in 2023.
The CLG is made up of representatives from the Paraparaumu and Raumati communities, airport users, the airport owner and management, and local iwi.

The committee is required to determine the process for attending to noise complaints and to regularly review that process and activity.
