Greenhouse gas inventory
Carbon emissions for the Wellington Region have been measured using the Global Protocol for Community Scale Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory (GPC). The method includes greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from stationary energy, transportation, waste, industry (IPPU), agriculture and forestry sectors.
The inventory report for the Kāpiti Coast can be found at GHG emissions reports.
You can find out more at Greater Wellington Regional Council, including accessing the reports for the other councils in the region.
