Waikanae Community Board by-election

A Waikanae resident has won the Waikanae Community Board by-election.

Jill Lloyd won the by-election ahead of three other candidates Donald Carter, Geoffrey Churchman and Jeremy Seamark.

The by-election was required after previous Board Chair Michael Scott was elected to Council earlier this year.

There were 3,325 votes including eight informal ones and three blank voting papers.
