Mikhael joined the Mayor's Taskforce For Jobs (MTFJ) programme as he wanted to get into the workforce and had heard the MTFJ supported young people into employment.  The programme helped him with his CV, interview skills, and sorted a three month internship at Kāpiti Coast District Council in the Asset and Transport team.  This internships gave him the opportunity to develop his confidence, skills and have a greater understanding of the world of work. 

The MTFJ continued to work with Mikhael and supported him into a Checkout role at Pak'n Save Kāpiti.  Since then he has thrived in this role with positive recognition from his customers, peers and managers.  Ka rawe Mikhael!
