Join Aotearoa's pre-eminent Bob Dylan tribute band for a night of rollicking rockin' folkin' funkin' songs from the Bobster - recognised as one of the worlds greatest songwriters. We have 2000 plus songs to choose from so no - we're not doing them all, just a selection of his greatest hits, some deep cuts into obscurity, and ones we think are worthy of an airing.
Our ten piece band is packed to the gunwales with drums, guitars, brass section, singers, and keyboards to replicate the sound of the man, but also provide our own interpretations of some songs. Our band members come from all manner of musical outlets, from the Mockers and Let's Planet to the Balkanistas and the Wooden Box Band.
We all love Mr Dylan. And in our two hour non stop show we so enjoy playing his music, trying to remember his lengthy lyrical odes, and having you, the audience help us raise the roof with some of his greatest bangers. Don't think twice, Lay your lady lay down and get your ticket now cos - y'know This Wheel's on Fire and there ain't no stoppin' the Dylan train. Door sales will be available. The band will hit the stage runnin' at 7 pm!
