We're excited to bring you a Father's Day pottery painting event in collaboration with the finest brewery on the coast, Duncan's! Come along for an afternoon creative session of painting a piece of pottery for Dad - or with Dad, whilst sipping on your choice of brew. This is your opportunity to get sorted for Father's Day (Father's Day NZ is Sun 7th September). Book a ticket for yourself, your family and your dad, enjoy a creative session altogether, each turning a mug or tumbler into work of Picasso. No family dramas just a fun old time. If Dad can't make it, make him a custom gift. Bring along your partner or your beer loving bestie! You will be guided through the process of painting (let's get our facts straight its actually underglaze not paint!) your Mug/Tumbler. Dad will treasure his custom made piece or you could make matching family mugs! All materials supplied.  This Pottery painting workshop is absolutely suitable for anyone...even the least creative people! Ticket price includes: Your own ceramic Mug/Tumbler ready for decorating  One Beverage (Beer or non alcoholic) All the materials needed Guidance from me to create a piece Dad will treasure forever 1 Kiln firing ~ this makes the piece strong, shiny and food and drink safe Please note: Your piece will be carefully taken back to my studio and glazed with a clear glaze, this will not only make it look profesh but will make it safe to use everyday.  You can then collect your finished piece from Duncan's the following Friday (05.09) Disclaimer: I will take every care with your finished piece but I can not be held responsible for cracks or glaze issues once fired...I'm afraid we put our trust in the kiln gods.
