Sionna

Fresh from supporting Hothouse Flowers on their NZ tour, Sionna bring their first headline show to Paekākāriki– don’t miss this. Sionna are a dynamic folk duo formed in Christchurch in 2023. Helen (Galway) and Lorcan (Limerick – just a stone’s throw away) combine haunting vocal harmonies, top-class fiddle, and rich, driving accompaniment on bouzouki and guitar. Alongside their musicianship, their warmth and wit make for a night as entertaining as it is musical. The duo have built a strong following across the South Island, selling out their annual “big gig” at The Piano in Christchurch for the past three years. In 2026, they toured nationwide as support for Hothouse Flowers, earning a huge response from audiences in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. Now, they’re back to show the good folk of Paekākāriki what a full Sionna show really feels like. One night only: ???? St Peter's Village Hall ????
