Paekākāriki School Plant and Car Boot Sale | 140th Birthday Celebratio

This year’s May Gala combines our much-loved autumn plant sale and car boot sale with a mini celebration of Paekākāriki School’s 140th anniversary. Come along for plants, bargains, history, and some classic old school fun for the whole whānau. Plant Sale Winter vegetable seedlings, native trees, flaxes and grasses, perennials, shade loving plants, herbs, succulents, ferns, houseplants, special plants for Mother’s Day, and much more. Our prices are very reasonable. Payment options: cash, EFTPOS, or bank transfer. Car Boot Sale Grab a bargain or book a spot to sell your own treasures. Book a car boot site via the event website URL. Tamariki 140th History Exhibition The Tamariki at the kura have spent term 1 looking into the history of the school and the wider village. All this work will be on display at the school, come down to the school hall and explore displays of their learning and find out more about the history our lovely school. Top Town–Style Games (11am–12pm) Join us for Top Town–style old school challenges. Start training now—find your eggs and spoons, dig out your old sacks, and get ready for some classic fun! Rally your neighbours and bring your competitive spirit. All proceeds go towards maintaining the school garden programme and kura support. Thank you to the Paekākāriki Museum Trust for supporting the tamariki with their history projects in Term 1. See you there!
