Air Force Band Charity Concert

Presented by: Waikanae Lions Club and Royal New Zealand Air Force Band The much loved Air Force Band Charity Concert returns for its 18th spectacular year! A firm favourite that regularly sells out, this is not to be missed — secure your tickets early to be part of this unforgettable afternoon. This year’s concert promises an exciting and uplifting programme, featuring everything from iconic movie themes to timeless classics. Audiences will be treated to the full power and colour of bagpipes, drums, brass and woodwind, together with a stunning performance by the incomparable soprano LAC Barbara Graham. Adding to the occasion, this concert marks a heartfelt farewell as Director of Music Squadron Leader David Gallaher takes the podium for his final performance with the RNZAF Band before embarking on new adventures back home in Christchurch. Best of all, thanks to the hard work of the Waikanae Lions Club, every ticket purchased supports a wonderful cause, with proceeds going to Mary Potter Hospice.
