Sports ground status

We try to keep our grounds open all the time, but sometimes we have to close them during the week because of bad weather, maintenance, fixing up the sports fields, or when sports clubs book them.

Staying updated

If we close a sports field during the week, you can find out by:

• checking this page for updates by 2.30pm on business days
• downloading Antenno, our free mobile app; add your favourite parks as 'your place' to get our winter sports ground closure notifications sent right to your phone 
• calling our 24-hour sports info line 04 296 4720 or our call centre 0800 486 486.
