Kapiti Coast Airport Noise Complaints
Airport noise levels are already prescribed in the District Plan and all the various airport users are familiar with those rules.
From the public’s point of view, the most important thing in making any complaint about noisy aircraft, is to do it promptly and to have available the time of the incident and a description.
All complaints regarding noise generated from the Kāpiti Coast Airport or airport activities can be made by either:
- telephoning the 24/7 phone service on (04) 918 3434 and providing the operator with the data required; or
- downloading a pro forma complaint form from the airport website here and emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org or posting it to:
- The Airport Manager
Kāpiti Coast Airport Holdings Limited
PO Box 106249
- The Airport Manager
The complaint should include as much information as possible to help the investigation and then docmentation and findings regarding the complaints will be reviewed by the Community Liaison Group.
