The Christmas and New Year period can affect the dates and timelines you need to consider when filing an alcohol licensing application. The information below outlines the latest dates to lodge different application types with Council.

Special licences for unforeseen events can still be made on a case-by-case basis.

Renewals
Application for renewal of a manager's certificate can be made at any time prior to its expiry.
Application for renewal of an On, Off or Club licence must be filed at least 20 working days prior to expiry.
Applications for renewal may not be processed and determined until after 15 January 2027.
As long as the renewal application has been filed on time, the licence or manager's certificate continues in force until the renewal application has been determined, even if this is past the expiry date.
