Te tūranga | The Opportunity
Our Kāpiti Libraries are growing, and we’re looking for people who love helping others with books, information and technology to join the team.
We have vacancies within the Paraparaumu Library Team (which includes the Paekākāriki library) and the Te Ara Whetū team which will be activating the brand new library hub in Waikanae. All of these roles are part time and we’re looking for a variety of skills, personalities, and ages.
To excel in this role, you will really enjoy customer service and being constantly on the move. In this role you are always on your feet, doing a lot of shelving, customer assistance, space rearrangement and processing of the collection. On occasion crowd control will be required, and if your dream job is reading and singing to toddlers and tummy-timers, then we also have a role that includes leading Pēpi Time.
