Our Māori Economic Development Fund is available to help support and grow our district’s Māori economic activity. If your pakihi (business) is starting out or in growth mode, check it out.

New guidance is available for those looking to add a granny flat to their property, and our district is humming with the sound of machinery as we continue to invest in our roads and improve safety for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.

February is a great time to enjoy our council-run and council-supported events, from the PGA Championship and art exhibitions to SoundSPLASH! and Movies in the Park as summer continues to shine on the coast. Roads may get busy at times, so we encourage you to plan ahead.
