What's happening in Kāpiti this week

31 Mar 2026, 4:45 PM

It's almost Easter which marks the end of daylight saving and of our summer dog zones – make sure to check out how the zones change

If you're staying close to home, check out our local tracks and trails – there's more than 100 kilometres to explore. And if you're heading away, have a great time but be prepared for any situation. We never plan for bad weather, but we can plan in case it happens.

In this week's issue find out how we prepare for emergencies, read about our successful mahi in wastewater compliance monitoring, and nominate your local good sort. And don't forget to get involved in our school holiday activities at our libraries and pools!
