The Kāpiti Coast boasts a variety of well-maintained sportsgrounds, catering to athletes and sports enthusiasts of all ages. From rugby and football fields to cricket pitches and tennis courts there are spaces perfect for both organised competitions and casual games.

Please note that the sports grounds are closed to all bookings from September until mid-October each year. This closure allows essential maintenance and renovation work to be completed between sporting seasons, ensuring the grounds remain safe, healthy, and in the best possible condition for all users. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period.
Our courts and astro turf can be booked all year round.

- Tennis courts are free to use for casual recreation.
- Bookings are only required for organised competitions, training, or where exclusive use is needed.
- Courts cannot be used when a club has exclusive use through a lease or a paid booking, in accordance with the KCDC Fees and Charges Schedule.
- Schools and clubs can apply for seasonal blanket bookings and will need to specify the days and times required.
