Tyro, apprentice MatheMagician, can't get his spells right. So, when Fire Chief Fleet arrives with a monster mathemagical problem, they need to ask the audience for help. A Riotous comedy, a transforming set and audience participation. KidzStuff Theatre for Children brings the magic of live performance to your tamariki these July school holidays, a Wellington's family-friendly favourite since 1997. These 45-minute shows are packed with local Kiwi heart, inviting kids aged 2–10 to enjoy a high-energy, theatrical escape. Make some memories and join the fun! Written by the phenomenal Jenny Wake ONZM - a veteran of New Zealand Television and Theatre. In her television career, she wrote, directed and produced ‘Play School’, wrote for ‘Bumble’ and directed ‘What Now’. Jenny has travelled the word championing children's theatre. Currently the National Coordinator of Performing Arts and Young People of Aotearoa (PAYPA) and the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ) New Zealand. This play has had sell-out tours, and international presentations at Brisbane's Out of the Box festival and Vancouver-based Axis Theatre.
