About the grants
In 2024, grants of up to $2,000 are available for projects that support positive change for our local youth, community, or even the world! This could include:
- an environmental project in your community
- a smoke-free event to promote healthy living at your school
- getting young people’s voices to Council or the Government on a particular issue
- personal development endeavours, including anything that might help a young person pursue their talents, develop their skills, or gain achievements in their passions.
Applications are assessed by Youth Council representatives, with eligible applicants invited to an interview to speak to their application. Successful applicants will be notified by June 2024, and projects must be completed or up and running by the end of the year.
