Coastlands Aquatic Centre naming sponsorship continues

Kāpiti Coast District Council is thrilled Coastland will continue to support the Paraparaumu aquatic centre for three more years.

Coastlands has renewed its sponsorship of the Coastlands Aquatic Centre, with rights to renew in future.

Coastlands Chief Executive Richard Mansell says it was an easy decision to continue to support the much-loved facility.

“We see it as something we should do for the community,” Mr Mansell says.

“It’s good to invest in iconic things that bring people here and serve the community.

“My father was also a very enthusiastic supporter before he passed away and this is another way to commemorate him.”

Coastlands has been the naming sponsor since the pool’s establishment. The new agreement is for $20,000 a year.

Manager Aquatics Facilities Steve Millar says Coastlands has been a fantastic supporter over the last 12 years.

“We really value the contribution and are thrilled to be continuing our partnership,” Mr Millar says.

“Having a naming sponsor helps us keep investing in regular improvements, like our flying fox and the new poolside changing cubicles.

“Over time the name has become synonymous with the pool so we’re glad it’s remaining the same, and we look forward to keeping the relationship going.”
