Around 50 local contractors and suppliers joined us for our second contractor forum on Tuesday 7 April. These sessions are about improving how we work together and making it easier for local businesses to do work with Council.

We covered practical topics including:

• health and safety reporting
• our new Supplier Hub
• Waste Management Plans
• new Guide for Temporary Traffic Management
• Mayor's Taskforce for Jobs
• upcoming Council work and opportunities

There was plenty to discuss and it was great to see so many local businesses in the room. We also received positive feedback on these sessions and are planning to run another forum in six months’ time.
