Council receives High Court ruling

Kāpiti Coast District Council has received the High Court judgement on the judicial review brought forward by Wakefield Group Holdings Ltd earlier this year about Council’s decision not to dedicate the road reserve at the end of Moy Place, Ōtaki (Lot 72) as legal road on 28 November 2024 and 30 January 2025.

Chief Executive Darren Edwards has confirmed that a paper will be tabled for decision at the 11 December 2025 Council meeting in response to the direction set out in Justice Gendall’s judgement.
